I’m Lea (lay-ah) Conte, an experienced Designer, Art Director, and Post-Secondary Educator based in Toronto, Canada. With over ten years in the design industry and more than five years of teaching, I’m driven by a deep passion for both design and education. My career blends a rich mix of academic knowledge and hands-on experience. I hold a BA in Cultural Anthropology, which has fuelled my curiosity about cultural dynamics and enriched my approach to teaching.
My creative journey led me to study Fashion Arts and Graphic Design, eventually becoming a successful Art Director. Along the way, I felt a growing desire to combine my academic interests with my passion for creativity, which led me to teaching at the post-secondary level. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve built a fulfilling career that merges cultural understanding with design problem-solving.
I’m committed to providing my students with an outstanding learning experience, keeping them connected to the latest trends and principles in design. I take great pride in helping them grow and stay current in this ever-evolving field.
If you’d like to connect, collaborate, or discuss design, teaching, or cultural insights, feel free to reach out. I’d love to hear from you.
